From Humble Beginnings to Diverse Expertise: The Evolution of Warfel Construction Co. Inc.
Warfel Construction Co. Inc., was formed in 1972 by Allan Warfel as a residential contracting company operating in the Milford area. From that small start Warfel Construction has expanded into commercial and agricultural construction as well as land development.
In 1973, Jay Schlabach joined Warfel Construction and took charge of the expansion into the agricultural construction field. Today, Warfel is active in all phases of agricultural construction including poultry houses, animal waste structures and post frame buildings.
By 1980, Warfel Construction operations had expanded from single family residences to include townhouses, churches and other types of commercial structures.
Located at 246 South Rehoboth Blvd, Milford, Delaware since 1981, the company added a new office and showroom in 1985 to handle the growth of the company and to better serve their customers.

From Land Development to Modern Showrooms and New Developments
In 1989, Warfel Construction moved into Land Development with its first housing development, Meadow Brooke Estates. Since then, Warfel Construction has developed many of Milford’s finest neighborhoods including Sawmill Village, Hidden Meadows, South Shores, Sandy Knoll, and Walnut Village. Currently, Warfel Construction is building homes in two developments in Southern Delaware; The Retreat at Hazzard’s Hill and Harrington Meadows.
In 2004 Warfel Construction expanded the office building once again. This expansion provided additional space for showroom displays, additional offices, and a conference room.
